FOR over years, Yorkshire Residential School for the Deaf has played a distinguished part in the field of education of the deaf, and its story is a fascinating account of people who contributed so much towards the training of deaf children to take their places in the hearing ://   The school is a national resource for the deaf and has deaf learners, primarily from across South Yorkshire but also via local authorities from across the UK.
